1 Presidency Christmas 2008 Message

This year I liked very much President Uchtdorf Christmas message and remind me the real importance of the season. So I diced to by presents like he suggest. Gloves and candles it´s look like not a big thing but everyone loves, and it help to kip the spirit.

This year I spend the Christmas Eve and day with may father sister, I love it very much. She asked me for 10 years to I spend a Christmas with her, and it was very good. With was the kind off Christmas that I wanted, love, peace and lot of joy. I was had a very blessed this Christmas

What I learned from this is that sometimes we are the one who diced how the Christmas is going to be, good, bad, in war, or with lots of love.

VOLUNTEER AGAINST STARVATION

29 November, a very special day for me. At the beginning I didn’t wanted, but because I compromised I did go. I’m talking off - BANCO ALIMENTAR, LUTA CONTRA FOME. This Saturday I was a volunteer at the campaign against starvation. It was very good to me, see that despised the economic situation here in Portugal is not very good, people do care. There were a lots off old people need for help but still they helped with there harts the one that need most. Portuguese, angolanos, cabo-verdianos, ucranianos (Ukraine), romenos (Romaine), gipsy, they hall contribute for campaign. With this I saw how generous that people can be after hall the difficulties that we are living. I tank the Lord for the opportunity the served again to my people and feel the love that they have to one another at they hearts. http://www.bancoalimentar.pt/.

The Relief Society purpose

"The purpose of Relief Society, as established by the Lord, is to organize, teach, and inspire His daughters to prepare them for the blessings of eternal life."


This year on the transmission of relive society it was talked about the reason that it was create this organization and it is the oldest women organization ever and we have the privilege to be part of it.
And the real purpose is the take souls to Christ. It’s a big responsibility but not very difficult. We only have to keep the faith to be succeeded.

Reflexions

Hello!

This is something that I want to share with you because you have been my friends all this time.
At the ending of my mission I didn’t want to get married to soon. The reason it's because I need to feel free. My mother always told me that I was a crap and a very stupid person, and when she told me a nice thing ii means she wanted something back. That’s why every time someone said something good about me I look very suspicious. It's amazing that after all this time, you still like me, even when I was very mean to you, and only good things to say about me. This year after a long struggle with my mother I decide to live my life, she didn’t like of the fact that she does not controlling me anymore but my self esteem need.

The Lord gave me a life to live it, to love it, because I don’t want to tell in on judgment day that I was a coward. Now I feel more confident about myself and more secure about my feelings. We all have our faults but that doesn’t make us better our worse than the others, it make us special. That what I learn this year - I'm special no Mather what.
Every time that I feel down I remember you and the good things that I learn when I was serving with you.

There are lots of things about me that I can say like this, but you can be sure it makes me stronger. Now I'm studding, living my life and very happy.

There's a saying "quem vive do passado é museu" - Who lives from the past is a museum

Miratejo - Ward

My ward as 3 girls active.

A lots of the portuguese menbers are going to England looking for a better life and condicions.Its the big recession, but i have faith that this will pass, is just a test.

We were 150 active members and now we are like 70-65.
Wen I went to mission there were 13 active girls, some goes to the relif socity and others emigrate.
But these 3 girsl are awsome and i juts hope to help them in everything that i can

New Chalange

Hello!

I Was recently relesead of the secretary of girls organization of Setubal Stake charge. It was a very good experience for me I learn a lot, talking with the liders of every ward a meet all the girls and listening to their testimoneis, with was very gratful.

But now, my new chalange is the lider of mutuals of my ward. It´s a big chalange and a big responsability too.
The good part is that i have a lots of ideas and plans, lots of projects to realize with the youth of my ward. Is gona be great.
Later i will tell you how it goes.

TIME TO GOE HOME

My holidays are ending, and its time for me to goe home, back to the real life. It has been great to be with the persons that i met wen i was a missionarie, and now we are a fery good friends.
Another good thing is that they can take you on a trip to see places that you had never seen before. This is one off the good things for serrvin in your won country

Back to mission

I´m on holiday, and this year as the last one I diced to came for a visit to my first area on the mission, Braga.
It´s very good to se that they remember us with a very especial love, and are thankful that we remember tem too.
It´s truly a blessing and i hope that you can experience too.

Thank you all for keping me in your prayers. I feel mutch stronger for having sucth good friens like you. The distance is not very important wen we have a strong line to keep us united. I read this chapter and it reminds me wy are we here and the blessings that are promisse if we never faild. Friendship

Lately i done something very bad, and it has to be with one of the comendements.
But i was so shame with myself that i dint no wath to do. I has a friend a opinion, a friend for life that i met on mission, on my first area.
It feels realy good to talk with someone that cares with us, specialy wen we feel very lonly, and we have a great sintony too, because wen i feel down she calls me and vice-versa.
Being the only member sometimes that´s the real chalange, and not having the preistood at home wen we need the most, but this fiend is teaching me that i´m not alone and wen i need help she wil be there for me.

Its a holiday, a catolic to be more precising, "corpo de Deus" - " God´s body" i think thats is the way that it says in english.

Graduation year 2009

This is amyzing!

It looks like i´m a crazy pearson that wriths all nigth long. But is the fact that we live in very oposites continentes its 10 p.m. in Portugal

My graduation its on the next year, June 2009, it will feal good for me to aceived one of my gools. The next one stepp don´t know wet.

The footbol season is over i´m my team since im a liter girl dind get nohing, but next year with be betar. I have proud of Sport Lisboa e Benfica (SLB) the red team, the mascot is a ealge.
I was born a benfiquista, wil died a benfiquista.

The Euro 2008 is almost starting and i hope that this year Portugal goes mucth well as in 2004.

Still, we are at tht 5th mont of the year and a lots of projects to do.

Hello Everyone!

I nkow, that all are curius to abaut me, so there it goes;

I´m at colleg studing pscicology, it wasnt my firts choice but i´m loving it. It´s a fantistic cuse and it´s all abaout me, and how can i be more tolorante with tht outhers.

My love life is a disaster, no boyfriend, just work and study.

All my family is ok, most off them dont like wen i talk about the church, "to many rules" tey said.

Recently, i went to the Madrid temple with the singles adults of Setubal stake (mine) Lisbon and Oeiras, it was very funn.

I had the oportunity to do the work for my antecessers and it feels real good, its something that i´m ejoing a lot, family reacharts.

The economics satus off the country is not verygood at the moment but i have faith that the war will over soon and we can all be in peace.
